.rm File Help Please

Hi all,

Before the forum went down I asked about making .rm files - done that!

My Problem now is that it slows down and stops about 70/80% way trough.

Anybody know how to fix this?

There might be a bug in your version of Real Producer or Helix Producer.

Try using the older RealProducer -

Thanks but thats not the case. It only slows dopwn when its on the net. Anyboady?

What type of file are you encoding from? avi? mp3?

mp3 using helix producer basic. Works fine when you play it normally, just when its on the net.

Stay of the internet while you encode?

Do you mean that you are encoding directly to a RealServer (doing a live broadcast??)

I'm encoding an mp3 to an rm file, then i'm uploading it to my Bt Webspace. But when you listen to it on the net if slows down near the end and plays silence. Nut when you listen to it on my HD it works fine.

Well thats probably becuase youve run out of bandwith and RealPlayer is Buffering the file. Its the same if you try and watch real Videos without downloading to your Hard Disk.

but it dosn't come up with buffering in just carrys on playing but you can't hear anything
