Rejected David Lowe BBC News Theme

Hi,

I remember 3 or 4 years ago, David Lowe was featured on a BBC Radio show discussing the creation of his 1999 BBC News package. It included a clip of Lowe's original proposal, which the BBC rejected because it was too upbeat. I was wondering if anybody still has that interview or audio of the original proposal.

More "dated" then upbeat I'd say though (if this is the right clip)!

I like the original pitch, it could have been used for something else though.

Me too, but I have to disagree with the way she sang it.

But was that not the original pitch for Rep Scot back in 2008?
