Name the piece of muisc

I would like to ask if anyone can name any of the following piece of music?

CLIP 1. not very long

Clip2, this is a different piece

There are no rewards alas,

I recognise the second one, but can't remember what it's from. Not much help really is it lol. I'll have a think...

The second 1 sounds very similar to the This Morning theme

Clip one has had some minor job on it and how has a beginning!!!!


its an extra 2 secs longer

ITV's "Sunday Morning" programme used to share the same graphics and title sequence (albeit with different images and obviously different presenters) as "This Morning", but only for a very, very brief period during the middle 1990s; I seem to remember hearing the music from the second clip in use on the Sunday programme so am inclined to believe that its the shortlived Sunday Morning theme, hence the similarity to the This Morning theme.

However I may be wrong... but its still quite clear in my mind...

Clip 1 was used as the theme tune for North Tonight 91 to 92 (don't know the name though )

Clip 2 was used at closedown on STV round 87 the music was played as the menu appeared on screen with the next days programme line up .

Whoops! Sounds very Ray Monk so assumed it was "This Morning" but reworked.

Question of course is either library and if not who did them.

Sorry, can't tell you the name of the piece, but it is definately an Ed Welch composition. Where did you get it and do you have the whole piece?
