Bit of an odd question this, but I've been wondering for a while now:
What is the instrument used predominantly in the 1990's BBC TWO ident audio tracks? I refer to the melodic bell-like sound which is the main (if not the only) instrument used in the music for Sign/Neon, and Car.
If you know what the instrument/sound is called, or even if you have just some idea of what it might be, I'd appreciate all feedback.
