Noel edmonds gunge tank

hi folk

has anyone got any information for the klaxon-type sound that was used on noel edmonds house party gunge tank just as noel pressed the button. the same sound effect was used on live & kicking too.
I'd like to know whether its library or not, perhaps its from the bbc sound effects library I don't know.

any info would be greatly appreciated.

does anyone know where it came from originally I.e. bbc sound effects library etc?

It's the right one, but by sounds of it they've tried to extract the sound from old footage... hense it sounding a little dull now.
