new year pips

Does anyone happen to have a sound clip of the gmt pips at midnight on 31st december? i am told there were 7 of them, rather than 6.

radio 2 and 4 took big ben.

Hi Ashley,

TMK all BBC Domestic Services took Big Ben but I beleive BBC World Service took the pips, although I may be wrong.

Can't help on the capture front but hope that help's a little bit.

Am I the only one who thinks this could be quite easily knocked up from the easily available 6 pip version?!
