Happy New Year to you all. Bit of an odd request but would anyone know who arranged and played the version of The National Anthem (God Save The Queen) as heard on BBC1 from ?1973 to November 1997, and still heard on BBC Radio 4. I have been given conflicting information and thought this the best place for a definitive answer. Many thanks in anticipation.

Not sure about composition but I assume it would be one of the BBC's in house orchestras
