Does anyone know what material they use? (February 2008)

By contrast, the ITN newsroom is always recorded... isn't it?

I always assumed it was, as I once spotted the whole picture 'jump' and people disappeared (if walking) and appeared (at desks)!

However, I wonder whether anyone has actually sat down and gone through it all to check it, because a few days ago (can't remember the bulletin), I spotted someone walking by, towards the front, doing a silly walk... it was almost a drunken moonwalk! The chap was doing it for someone else's benefit because just before he was about to move out of shot, he straightened up and you could tell he was laughing!

I'm sure that's what I saw, because it was quite distracting! Very funny though...

I know BBC News used to use this projection. It looked very realistic, with superimposed people walking around randomly, flashing screens, etc. I don't know if it was ever used on N24 though.
