Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of starting to create a title sequence for something which I shall post in The Gallery shortly.

I just wanted to get a few ideas as to what makes a good title sequence, as I don't want it to flop like last time Wink .

For example:

The Visuals?

The Style?

The Theme Tune?

Colour Scheme for the titles cap?

Etc.

Thank you!

All of the above really. The key to remember is this is going to introduce your programme. 1st impressions and all that, If the opening titles look crap it tends to imply the rest of what is going to follow is going to be crap too.

Don't over complicate things. Simplicity is key. Over-complicate it and things become overcrowded an confusing. Though if you under-complicate it, it will look plain and unworthy. So keep it sort of in the in-between.

Like BBC News for example, the theme is a mix of sad and happy. Not biased towards one feeling.
