Dear all,

I'm setting up a cancer charity called Miles For Men... it works on the same principle as Race For Life. However, it's purely for men. We're organising our first charity run on in the summer. However, we're trying to drum up support for the race. The charity was set up following the deaths of two close male friends and relatives from cancer.

However, I was wondering whether anyone would be able to help design a logo.

The logo would be used for the event posters and on our facebook page which we are building now.

Sadly, as we have only just setup the website we would not be able to offer any financial incentive. But we hope that someone would be able to support us!

Thanks again!!

What are you wanting exactly? Simple rectangular logo, or a more complex one?

Hi thank you for replying.

To be honest either would be good. We really want something which will define our event/cause.

Thanks again

Colour schemes?

Our event is 3 miles long so I'm not sure whether that would something that could be incorporated into the logo?

Thanks again

We've not thought so much about colour schemes yet. However, since our event is aimed totally at men anything eye catching but manly would be great.

I'd be able to try something in the morning when I get on the desktop?

That would be fantastic. Thank you so much!

I've decided to have a go at designing one for you:

*

The three "tracks" making up the asterisk/star represent the three miles. The "o" and "M" are highlighted as the look a little like somebody on a starting block (obviously not done with such a race, but it's reminiscent of running). I've kept the colour scheme blue as an opposite to the Race for Life pink.

The OM looks like someone laying, with their legs apart, and I would avoid using Museo as well as trying to space the words apart more. The asterisk is fine though Smile

This may not be the Gallery, but I'll may have a go.

Everyone likes a good innuendo.

The spacing was really to get the o and M to work better more than anything. I'll see what I can do later to alter it.
