Joshing aside: it opens with a combined strings flourish, the background motif sounds like flutes or violins - could be a mixture of both - over a three-tone timpani signature. The brass main theme notes are most likely an ensemble of cornets and trumpets, perhaps with a particular stop. May be a higher-range trombone in there too - the notes seem too strong for horns. The final part of the ident theme seems to incorporate strings as well. There's also a very high fading flute tremolo above the final part of the ident.
So the answer is : Violins, violas, possibly cellos, flutes or recorders - I detect no oboes - timpani, trumpets, trombones, cornets.

We also have timpani, crash cymbals, (tubular) bells. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a full percussion section.
