How do you import images from your computer to the forum?

I want to import an image onto a post, how do I do that?
Apologies for sounding like a grandpa.

I’d use an upload service (preferably Metropol Upload Service), upload your photo to it, then when you make a post on here, click on the picture that’s on the bar and put the url for the page that has your image on it inside the bits that come up. Then you should be successful in putting your image onto your post!

To imbed an image, you click the photo icon (or you can type it out)

The following would be without any spaces, I've added a space either side of the URL to show the code

You need to remove the extra space between

[img] http://up.metro...

to end up with

[img]http://up.metro...
