This forum gets lots and lots of requests to "identify music" - so I thought other members might find this free program I found useful Smile

Great software, I've tried it and it works!

Cheers for the useful bit of software, Chris.

However, you need a good clean source, together with a long clip of the music in question for it to work properly.

"Odd" bits of music that are recorded badly (although hearable to the human ear but might not get detected under the computer's 'radar') often don't get identified.

In all such cases, nothing beats a pair of human ears. Wink

You can do the same thing with Shazam. Dial 2580 from your mobile phone whilst putting your phone next to a speaker playing music. I think it costs 20p (ish) but you can do it anywhere - very useful in a club!
