Put The Telly On
I've had to upgrade my browser to get rid of that annoying pesky message (suggested language one). Unfortunately it's IE8 Beta and is as slow as a snail on hot tarmac. The YouTube Support Forum is rubbish as well. "Oh well a lot of people have said it might be the privacy data in Firefox.."

NO, it's NOT Firefox, it's a bug in your coding - sort it out!

Just coming back to a point made on the first page, could anyone tell me whether Sony Vegas Movie Studio is alright to use to make YouTube videos?

I just wanted to make sure it can export videos so they can appear in high quality on YouTube. Is it a good program to use for basic video editing and uploading to YouTube?

It CAN'T be Firefox, I'm using AOL and it's still there.

I think youtube is cutting 4:3 Vids to 14:9.

EDIT: It's only certain videos not all vids.

Yes it's fine, just make sure the dimensions are at least 360 and up (height wise, eg: 480 x 360 for 4:3 and 640 x 360 for 16:9 and to activate High Definition 1280 x 720) and the bitrate it depends on what codec your using. But for AVI 800kbps and up, H.264 528kbps.

Have a tester with these settings so you can be sure yourself.

Unless I'm missing something, it's an Internet programme. As I say, I use AOL 9.0.

Oh, of course, I had forgotten that AOL, not satisfied with being an awful ISP, was also a bloated browser too. My apologies. And my sympathies.

Jeez, haven't they updated yet? I left AOL years ago, or Always Off Line as i called it (and I was) and they've still got Version 9! Laughing
