Can anyone help me out and point me in to the direction of some graphics design software that lets you design and animate at the same time? I'm re-creating some shopping TV graphics and so far Powerpoint has been doing that for me but to animate between different graphics I need multiple slides and updating all of them all the time is a bit time consuming.

I'm looking for an affordable alternative to PowerPoint which includes a timer/clock function. I've tried Unity but failed as coding isn't my thing and all of the others I've looked at need to be set up on servers which I don't have.

Any help will be appreciated.

After Effects isn't particularly cheap at £230 odd quid a year and Cinema 4D is about $90 a month. And Powerpoint "is" software FYI.

Few things here to look at, haven't tried any of them so they might be all crap for all I know:

Thanks Neil, i'll have a look at these. Powerpoint helps me in a way as I don't intend on sharing these re-creations which is why I've stuck with it for so long. It would be nice to find something simple that could let you animate everything all at once in the same screen like they do on TV.

Powerpoint's not really designed for what you're trying to do in all fairness. It's meant for sucking up appeasing management at meetings and whatever else, not for recreations of shopping channel graphics, but budget is a budget!

Learn HTML and Javascript. Do that and you can even use CasparCG to display the output. Plus you learn a transferable skill.
