Getting a Screenshot of DVDs

Does anyone know how to screenie a DVD playing on your PC?
When I paste it its just blank!

Help would be much appriciated!

I think some programmes allow you to take screenshots, but I'm not too sure. Mine doesn't.

What you can do is capture the video with a capture card, put it on ur computer and stick it on Windows Movie Maker, and that allows you to take screenshots.

I used a progamme called MPEG 2 VCR, which lets you save bits of video off DVDs to your HD and take snaps from them - useful for news captures.

I don't think so, just bookmarks. Then again I've been using MSI for a while.

I can't remeber how I did it (it was a while ago), but I do remember taking screenshots with WinDVD. I think I right clicked on a paused DVD.
