Ripping from YouTube is all well and good. However, when using on a radio programme, I require all the relevant information need for the return slips to PRS for Music.
I'm however told that these tracks are library (of course, that could be wrong) and if the tracks are library, it would make things a lot easier to put down and note for the returns.
I have found 2 tracks, the first is the full theme and the second is the zone change (or underscore) in fairly good quality. I've also messaged the YouTube user but had no response as yet.
I've also contacted Bruton. They were very helpful and had around 18 tracks by Zack by not this particular set of tracks. As you'd expect, Peak Performance (Treasure Hunt) was in this small collection.
Is Zack well known for working with other libraries??

Is there any chance I could grab these from you too? I've been looking for Forcefield for some years now, even having gone to the length of speaking to Zack Laurence myself! I had a really good chat with him and it turns out everything he made for The Crystal Maze was given to Chatsworth Television, he kept nothing. It's a shame really as I've managed to track down other Zack masterpieces such as Rock Revolution (Interceptor) and Peak Performance (Treasure Hunt). I'm currently in the process of making Rock Revolution into a CD quality track and also attempting to make it 5.1.
The Crystal Maze iPhone app has all the music clean and full at the points used... zone changes, gold/silver collecting, theme tunes, etc... just hook it up to the computer and record the audio out of the headphone socket and there you go!
That was the MCPS on behalf of Zack Lawrence's Forcefield, back in the day. Well remembered! To this day I've never known what was so specific about that particular set of opening titles for the Crystal Maze, but some mysteries are never solved.
