Font Request: No Smoking

It is against the law to smoke in this thread. (July 2007)

I'm currently very busy breaking the law at work by not putting up any "no smoking" signage. However I would like to parody the signs, but can't quite pin-point what the font is. Any clues, folks?

As you were, gents, false alarm. Have identified it as Apex Sans . Now .. to find a copy of it!

Does anyone have copy of it as I was looking for a modern distintive (sp?) typeface and I think this is perfect!

It's a custom font, and you have to pay for it.

Correct. $250 for the full set. Just medium on its own is about £25. I'm not for a minute suggesting anybody would ever share intellectual property without paying for it.

Oh you are soooooooooooooo not funny. Is there any simular font I could use?

Did warn you, Mr Lug Wink lol.

Calibri, I think one of the Vista fonts, is very similar. But as it is Office 2003's default, it is bound to become something of a cliche font very soon (Times New Roman, Arial, Impact, Comic Sans et al).

Bottom bit is Calibri. It's not hugely similar, but certain characteristics are the same.

Really! That is good because I do happen to have Callibri. Which means my new designs standards information pack can now get under way!
