That S doesn't look like Arial Black. Does this mean we can get excited?

You may very well be allowed to do so, Lee. If not Arial Black (which Radio 1 has used for some time) then how about Akzidenz Grotesk Bold or Heavy? Notice the angles on the C which led me to believe it was Arial Black first, I feel that's something to be excited over.

Radio 1 hasn't used Arial Black since they revamped their website sometime last spring.

I think it was October actually.

So it is indeed Akidenz then? Would somebody please be able to send me a copy? I would be very grateful.

On another note, it's interesting to see how many views this thread got compared to many others in this forum...

Well the new logo was in use from July as it was in the six weeks of summer ads.

IIRC the old logo was used in the aforementioned trails

Both were still in circulation on various media.

But the question I was answering was referring to the website, which happened around October 2006.
