Best thing I will say is grab the newest graphics driver from Dell's website and see if that fixes the problem.
If it doesn't, then you may have to consider spending some money to upgrade or replace the computer if the preview issue happens on all video editing programs. Unfortunately video editing requires decent hardware, but that being said I have been able to do it on my previous laptop so...



I tried this but it says my system does not meet the minimum requirements to install the software.

Your computer must be really bad. My old 2ghz celeron from 2002 could manage to render DV in real time.

Is this the software for the video editing or the software for the video drivers? You're not really helping anybody by being incredibly vague.

I think your computer is probably older than you're letting on. What version of Windows is on it?
