Here's the stereo copy I have, this is the one from the Youtube clip. I've had a quick clean up of background hiss and enhanced it a little, although there are some digital artifacts, I'm working on making a perfect copy, to be honest, I'm looking more to get a copy on vinyl that is not as crackly.

Listen from around 1:50, that's where the Eastenders end theme would fit in. A wonderful tune though, you can say what you like about Simon May but this is an awesome piece of music.

Hello, can anyone 'rip' the EastEnders theme off Simon May's website as it is the only version I have heard with the full 'echo' on it and it would be great to have a good clean copy at last! Thank you all.

does anyone know where I could get hold of the British soap awards versions of all the soap theme tunes?

From what I heard on the last awards they used the proper themes and not made any new versions.

Which reminds me, lately, this year on Britain's Got More Talent and last year on Total Wipeout a different version of the EastEnders theme was used which was similar to the 1985 theme but with elements of the 1994 theme. I would love to get a copy of this version of the theme (a subtle elbow nudge)!

for the NTA's they use the proper themes but for the BSA's they use different themes, really want them as I think they are great!
