Doctors

I only see Doctors when I'm off sick or have the odd day's leave that I spend at home, (I really wish they'd repeat it later in the day, maybe on BBC3 at 7pm or BBC2 6pm).

I've been watching it this week, and I'm wondering if anyone in TV Forum land could update me on a couple of things please:

a) what happened to Mac? Is he ever returning?

b) Who set fire to the old practice building - was it Diane Keen's character or someone else? If it was her how did she get away with it?
