Channel Four Olympics 1988 Theme

Can anyone ID the music used by Channel Four for their Olympics coverage in 1988?

Was there still a lot of unsold slots even as late as 1988 then?

In the middle of the night with BBC1 also providing live Olympic coverage, yes.

I was amazed when that video first appeared on YouTube - I vividly remember seeing it on the first morning of C4's coverage, when they filled out the hours after the opening ceremony with a phone-in and a repeat of a Daley Thompson documentary.

I've still got my 45! (I knew I was a geek all those years ago...)

Certainly through the night there was, as quite a few regions didn't go 24 hours until late 1988. They tended to go with the C4 sustaining feed rather than employ someone to 'press play' or monitor the automation.
