CBBC Font

Hello everybody. Can anybody tell me what CBBC's previous signature font was? What is the font called that was used alot when their logo was this:

Anybody know the name of the font, and even more useful, where I can get it for free?

It was online a few years ago. Not sure if it still is. Martin will shead some light I hope.

Before it was known as "the CBBC font" it was actually called "Melt" - and can be found in old BBC Branding Guidelines as this.

There are three variants - the first variant was used by CBBC. They can be downloaded from the following Japanese website:

Does anybody know what the new CBBC font is called?

I don't know what the new one is called, but I know that it is similar to the SKY font, if you see what I mean. Obviously it is slightly different, the < bit of the k is curved, and other noticeable differences.

The Sky Font.. is ... just... just...

Your love of the Sky font is very very disturbing.

And the new CBBC font is absolutely nothing like it.

Yes I wouldn't mind knowing what the new one is called if anyone could find out.

AFAIK the new fonts are called CBBC Fat and CBBC Mono
