Can youhelp me ..

I am trying to get my hand on a copy of a documentary - It went on air during the 80's and possibly recorded during the late 1970's / early 80's - sorry I cant be more precise.

It follows 2 microlight pilots flying around the coast of Australia - as they fly from Beach to Beach the Film the native wildlife - Coral Reefs, Animals etc.

From what I remember , I got the impression that it was possibly an Australian produced film !

If anybody knows the film I am talking about I would be greatful if they point in the right direction so I could get a copy of it .. I know thats its a a long shot but I am at a loose end as to where to start.

Perhaps you could try asking the broadcaster directly. If its the BBC, I'm sure they will send you a copy, it is license fee backed afterall, and it may have been re-broadcasted on UKTV Documentary, UKTV History or previously, UK Horizons

You are kidding, right..? The BBC will only send you a copy of a non-released programme if you have some connection to the programme (ie you or a relative worked on/appeared in it), and even then, you're looking at paying through the nose for it.

If the BBC (or any other broadcaster for that matter) sent out ad hoc copies of its programmes to any Tom Dick or Harry who asked, the licence fee would have to double just to cover the cost of blank tapes!
