The Big Breakfast

This is a bit of a weird request I know but I've been watching some old episodes of show that I have on tape and I was wondering if the decoration in the living room from this period of the show was specially made for the show or did they just pick up the wall paper from a DIY store?

The show never used wall paper. It was always painted walls done by the art department. In these pre-HD days some of it was quite slapdash with some areas hidden behind furniture not even completed.

Yes it had to be painted with special set paint as wallpaper/normal paint would fade under the bright lights and not look as great on camera.

Does the same apply to programmes such as this morning?
