BBC Two "Windows 2" font

Now I'm looking for the 2 from the Windows idents. I prefer the one preceding it personally but I need the font for it anyways. I'm assuming some form of Gill Sans.

Its the same font, just the letter shape has been tweaked even more than in the older design.

People should realise that just because a logo is made of letters/numbers, it doesn't mean they are made up of a font's characters. It's quite possible to draw them from scratch, or as in this case, take an existing font and modify the letter shapes.

Again, it's a mod of Gill Sans Bold. It's changed substantially though, even more so than the Lambie-Nairn version.

Slightly off-topic, but relevant nonetheless - I made this a few days ago for the new year. It's made out of the Windows "2" numeral and Gill Sans Bold. Looks close enough to me - if you can modify the characters you could make yourself a very similar looking font.

the BBC did release a '2' when this BBC Two look premiered in 2007, it was so you could make your own idents...
