I was just watching a behind the scenes video clip on the BBC Spotlight website and heard this piece of music...

www.rp-networkservices.com/tvforum/uploads/bbc_regions.zip

Sounds a full version of the old regional news themes, does anyone have or know anyone who may have a copy?

Thanks in Advance

I can't quite tell what the beginning part of that is - possibly the first News 24 corporate theme. It then cuts into the closing music from the English regions circa 2000, so I think it's more of an edit for this video, rather than a full piece of music.

Indeed they are two seperate peices. But fear not, I've remade it as used in your sample for you. So here's a "clean" version of what you've posted...

Why go to so much trouble, to demonstrate you have the files or maybe you plan on putting that great piece of work in the mocks!? Very Happy
Couldn't you have just pm'ed him the complete tunes?

I believe a forum is a public place and there for Bail is right to post his reply here for others to share.

Why go to so much effort in attempting to annoy the people and groups of music collectors alike who share and often even overlook your own collection? What you need '[MMTV - A troll who is banned from TVForum]' is a sense of perspective, taking a solid look at your input on this forum and then making a structured decision over whether you are even needed in such a community. Put it like this, if you were not part of tvforum, it would only be the bbc news music threads on the requests subsite that would 'miss' you, where else are you to be *frequently* seen? Get over yourself and your 'broadcast quality music' and that isn't me being bitter.

Now for something completely different, the files, I believe are the original David Lowe mix of 1999, or something of a similar effect coupled with the 1999 BBC English Regions generic closing theme, before the 2002 updates, i'd be happy to send the later as obviously it's quite an old and certainly discontinued theme now.

Kind regards, Sam. You ok with that [MMTV - A troll who is banned from TVForum]? If your responses were on a similar level to mine, Bail's, Terry etc you may be respected that little bit more, do so and you'd be a good little boy, awww!

I don't need advice from you Look East, someone that tried to bluff me to obtain broadcast packages, you ended up saying and I quote: "Ok, you've got me, you just have to understand the perspective of the people who dont have the freedom and great source/contacts like you. Yep I do feel like a fool, luckily for you you're wise enough to suss me out"
So don't say you're not bitter you silly little boy.

Oh, crikey you're mentioning the fact I dealt with you [MMTV - A troll who is banned from TVForum]? You were the one who sent N24 Tonight & Sunday and BBC London 2005 in a zip package, together with a 40 digit password to unlock the files? Blimey, I now realise that was not a nightmare! Silly little boy I am, I nearly wet the bed in dissapointment when I found out I couldn't get my hands on those files *cries* love you really [MMTV - A troll who is banned from TVForum], you're a complete star Very Happy

What you wrote above makes absolutely no sense at all, perhpas you need to calm down and take things one word at a time, BBC News files aren't woth all the trauma you're obviously going through.

Sounds like a plan.

Back on topic: Here is the English Regions (1999) closing track as requested earlier in the thread.
