As for the 1993 6 o'clock News - I've looked through everything I have and all I ever had for this one was the opening theme and the closing theme. I got these 2 tracks from the Identz website back in 2000ish and I don't remember there being any others on there. I assume that's what everyone else has managed to collect.

Looking it up on YouTube, I do indeed hear the bed... but unfortunately I've never come across it online. So I failed on that one, which I'm sure will make someone smile!

The 1993 six o'clock beds ARE out they're somewhere, but unfortunately only in the hands of morons. They will never trade them because they enjoy not doing so.

I am one of many people who would give an arm to have all those beds. All of the 1993 themes were great, but the six titles and beds were simply out of this world.

Thanks Mr. B Very Happy

I'm restoring them at the moment, as they sound a bit too 'tinny' and there's a lot of static as well.

I did do a little work on them in my studio at work. I've de-hissed them, and added a little stereo echo and they sound a bit better for it.

Anyone interested...?

Yeah, sad to say that I don't doubt they're out there somewhere. It's like Blockbusters... but we'd best not go there... Laughing

As far as I can tell I have *all* of the other elements for the 1993 BBC News themes (Breakfast, 1, 6 & 9 were all re-recorded by Simon May no less) - bar the 6's bed it would seem. As ever, anyone's welcome to copies...

If you could PM them to me as well please Mr. B, I'd be grateful.

Thanks mate.

Though they're not the clean versions, many thanks for digging these out Mr. B; hugely appreciated (and again very generous).

Still don't know why the odd few choose to be absolute a*ses and keep hold of certain themes for themselves!

So, it seems that I'm not the only one who searches about the Nine Theme!!!

A big thanks for all your effort Mr.B - it's very generous of you to have taken the time to dig these out.

Re: People who don't share files - I wouldn't say they are being selfish or spiteful by simply not making it available in the open forum.

Some are evidently sworn to secrecy (where sharing would be a betrayal of trust), while others - heaven forbid - may actually have had to pay good money to acquire something; in which case, to expect them to upload it where people can download for free is not exactly fair.

However, those who brag publicly have no excuses - they are always going to receive flack and be insulted.

And with good reason too. If they never have any intention of sending anything to even the most trustworthy of people, then that is wrong - and they know that.

Totally agree Paul, As a fourm think those that simply want to brag about which clean tv titles they have should be banned or go and brag elsewhere.

After all it is called a " Fourm " which other members help each other and participate in a good debate and share news
