Not sure if these are missing or needed but appear to fill a gap:

BBC Election 2001 (almost 10 mins worth!)
BBC World Countdown 2004
BBC News(?) Countdown 2006

And this oddity ... someone may recognise it (I just know it as one hell-of-a-long-remix)
BBC News Remix (no idea of year)

I wonder if anybody has anything from this World News Today package? I've never come across any, My grateful thanks to anyone who does!

Albeit slightly tweaked, the same music is currently used for the Business Edition, which has been posted someone in this thread as 'World News Today'.

Your first and last files are the same: They are both the election 2001 extended mix.

The BBC World 2004 countdown is actually from 2005 and the BBC News 24 countdown from 2006 is actually the 2007 version.

The BBC World 2004 countdown is actually from 2005 and the BBC News 24 countdown from 2006 is actually the 2007 version.


The BBC World 2004 countdown and 2006 BBC News countdown are actually from David Lowe's members site.

Really? You know what I've never actually listened to them one after the other so I guess I've just been thick there! The BBC World 2004 and News 24 2006 are indeed from David's site (I extracted the audio from the video as 2004 was lacking material). Apologies for the confusion!

Unfortunately only the Countdown is on there.

It would be great for the BBC World News Programmes to be uploaded as they are some of the best news themes around. Asia Today and Sport Today Vamp is also missing from the BBC World 2000/2002 Package. Great to get this thread back on again.

Interesting watching the early GMTs on YouTube again it appears that somewhen around 2011 the coming up bed became the Headline Bed, possibly when they changed the Headline Sequence from sat at the desk to standing by the screen.
