Hello! Does anyone know if a clean copy of the theme song used for the BBC Six O'Clock News from 1993 to 1998 is avaliable and where? Thanks so much!

Matt, Like most news themes they're not made available, I grabbed a copy of the full package from the beeb back in '96, feel free to PM me and I'll sort something out for you

The funny thing is that I've listened to that opener on a real media file but I've never heard the extra little really quick drumbeat and in the clarity that your file is. Thank you Bail..

Can't you link us to the rest of what you have Bail in high quality? maybe the headbeds, stings, unused and alternate versions of those themes.. Would be fab

Bails your man for that, he links so much better than me. I know you are eager to grab lots of themes, maybe you and he could exchange some files, he's clearly more generous than me and I prefer to trade in private, gloat a bit I'm told and help out those I take a liking to via PM. That's not you unfortunately

Do you have a problem with me requesting.... in the requests section of all places. 
You didn't need to request because you 'swiped' them all from under people noses didn't you. Not all of us are that fortunate.
And gloat you do... whats the point of replying to a request saying 'I have what you want, but I'm not giving you it'... do you get a buzz from it.
Especially when this time you make it personal by adding the 'and help out those I take a liking to via PM. That's not you unfortunately'... and then finish with a predictable snigger face.
If you're gonna do that to half the requests then I suggest kindly that you stop irratating the people who are requesting and just, simply, dont reply. If you're not going to help, then dont reply to the requestor...

I was first to reply to the request with offer off help to Matt if you look.
Bail then jumped in to show us he had a few of the files at higher quality I imagine, generally requests for clean BBC news files don't get uploaded here and people get quite touchy, don't take me seriously. Sorry if I offended you.

Least your honest. The only reason I give things out is because thats how I got them in the first place I do have my deep and hidden files that won't go on here, and things I get that I *can't* give out before anyone asks.
