The 1986 theme was a low-pitched version of the 1980 one. I got excited there as well. Found out that you looped them from YouTube. I originally have the 1997 and 1999 Newsnight packages but I lost it, so if someone have any, you can share it here.

EDIT: The 1983 one had a first version before the one you uploaded was aired, and it's on TV Ark.

So did I when someone e-mailed them to me.

Not really a 'Master' as such, if it was the proper Master then it would be in WAV format as most DAW tracks get exported into WAV format.

I see. I'll convert it into WAV and will see if it's different from mp3.

Converting from MP3 to WAV will do absolutely nothing. Once a WAV is converted to MP3, the audio has been compressed and that's that. You can't reclaim lost data.

I have the WAV one emailed to me by someone few weeks ago, and I'll upload it soon. No problem!
