The TV Room did have some images of the studio taken from a documentary that aired several years ago, however these seem to have been removed from the site. Incidentally, you've asked this question 17 years to the day after the "virtual era" was introduced on 13 April 1993. I can't believe it was that long ago

It didn't use a green screen at all. It was a clever mix of masking and overlaying - but I forget the detail.
Noggin - he knows about this, but he might not browse requests very often.
The desk, as I remember it, was large enough to seat two, maybe three presenters, and just the long curved edges were added in the wide shot at the top and tail.

I was just wondering how small the desk and green screen were in comparison with the whole virtual set.
Any images much appreciated.
