Generally it's more courteous to provide something to the forum before requesting as others can be offended by it!

I don't understand where this notion has come from. I was here when the Requests Forum was added and I certainly don't remember such a "rule" being suggested back then. It's a requests forum - not a donations forum. I'm sure Harry will answer a future request if he is able to - don't forget that everyone has to start somewhere. If we all had your attitude how would anyone get started collecting things? It's not even as if he's been rude - he has said please and thank you, after all.

Never said it was my attitude, it's the attitude of others though, just delivering it before the bitches come out of the woodwork...
