I find it very strange how Auntie hasn't uploaded their pre-2000 annual reports to their website as PDFs, when Channel 4 has every report uploaded right before the formation of the Channel Four Television Corporation from 1993.

I recall in early 2016, seeing several of the annual reports from 1986-2003 listed on eBay, is there any other way I can access these?

The 1999/2000 report was summarised here:

A promo for the 1998/9 report is here, not that it tells you anything in it:

The British Library seems to have inherited a chunk of the older ones too, see the website.

Interesting, the 1928 book on the above website is 387 "pages" in length (although they don't appear to be A4, but seems to be A5 which is half the size of A4) and its full of advertisements primarily for radio receivers (including crystal radios that you often only find these days as a starter electronic project) and speakers (as of course we wouldn't have the basics of TV for another eight years or so) and massive batteries that look like car size batteries.

With occasional interludes from BBC personnel of the time.

I remember the 1986/87 annual report being possibly the earliest appearance of the Michael Peters BBC logo, yet strangely, it doesn't appear on the 1987 report in the link Sdal posted, (I presume they were separate publications?)

The easiest way to get hold of these would be to put in an FOI request
