KPM: as you know I have been trying to understand where blockbusters comes into KPM. I had a good long talk with them about this a few weeks ago, and I was hoping to get all the question answered but some still remain unanswered.

I have found out that KPM is in fact administrative for ITV muisc, ( the stuff that goes out to other companies) and many of the tracks on there site are not in fact Library piece, as many of them have been sold commercial.
Like the stuff on ITV 50 theme disk!!!!

With this being in mind that It does look like this was in fact the original, blockbusters theme. dated 1980 Before it done up for Central tv - ITV

but same of the Question in hand:

A: ITV is the publisher, KPM administrative itv works ( ALL STUFF! )

B: I asked about Ed welch and if someone else retuned it she does not know that

C: there still looking into seeing if kpm holds a copy of the blockbusters theme used on ITV

that why must of the stuff on KPM - TV theme section are the original. and also why it on there site: it has NEVER BEEN library is just there have now control it:

Kpm does not know! it could be that blockbusters is the only one there have but it is a bit weird that their also have the Sky version but not the ITV one

Well looking at the photos in the Central TV thread, it looks like a copy of it is sitting in ATV Centre waiting to be crushed. Where the original went.. who knows.

ITV in Yorkshire maybe along with some of the other ATV/Central bits?

No its still on the shelf along with all those other carts of music as far as I'm aware.

Clearly says Blockbusters on the label though, so its some sort of music from the show. Maybe someone needs to ask one of the workmen nicely and slip them a few quid to get them out.

I don't know if its any use but the ATV Centre buildings manager was called Nigel Davis, and was contactable via Alpha Tower's reception.

I'm sure he was aware of everything inside the place, and did assure me that anything of importance would be removed. However whats important to TV bosses and whats important to fans is another matter.
