Shouldn't be. I got other BBC1 continuity clips on YT and there's no copyright on those.
I notice it just says audio-visual content - could the real problem be the ident, not the national anthem?

It tells you where in the video the copyrighted content is anyway, so you can work out what they're blocking just from that.

They're not very accurate. I've had claims regarding content where they flag it long after the content in question started playing.

Having looked a bit more closely, it looks like BBC WW are claiming copyright over the ident itself!

I had a compilation of junctions from a night when BBC One north opted out (in a slightly amateurish way) blocked everywhere except the US. I think that was the ident, which was Acrobats all night.

Looks like there's a wave of it going on. I've just been clobbered with a block on a video that's been up for a good few years.

As explained above, while the tune may be in the public domain, the particular recording being used by the BBC will almost certainly not be.
I don't see why they are doing it, GSTQ belongs to us, why is BBCW blocking it here? they should rescind their decision ASAP

And? I suspect they played quite a few other non-public-domain pieces of music too.
And they will have paid the respective licencing fees for those tracks.

I've made a few disputes, as some of my clips claim to have Dad's Army on them but all of them don't. One even has the BBC2 Silk ident playing where a Dad's Army episode is supposedly playing at the same point as the ident.
