Might be a good idea to start downloading them using Firefox and the Greasemoneky user script "Download YouTube videos as MP4", which adds a download button underneath a YouTube video, just in case they are taken down.

I had a similar thing from Channel 4. They claimed copyright on some clips on my channel that were also featured in David Walliams' Awfully Good. I just disputed the claim, I didn't start going on about fair use and not making money as none of that is relevant. The clips are now available on my channel without adverts once more.

Just received the message that BBCW has "released" its copyright claim on my video. My reasoning worked in the end, then.
