I've never heard of The Television Show. Was it just behind the scenes items and previews/reviews? Judging from that clip the studio audience seems a little unnecessary!

It was a TVS show on Sunday nights presented by Fern Britton and Kieren Prendeville. It came from TVS's studio in Gillingham

I think it had guests as well as behind the scenes reports, there was a chat show element

TVS’s The Television Show series was scheduled at about 6pm on Sunday evenings in early 1987. Tyne Tees were one region that time shifted it to late night Sunday to make way for a local programme, which wasn’t the best decision as part of the programme trailed what was coming up later during Sunday prime time. It only lasted one series as far as I can recall.

I have a vague memory of seeing it on an afternoon when I off school for some reason, and they had had to move studio (to Maidstone?) because Gillingham (or wherever) was snowbound
Write that down in your copybook now.

An episode of Check Out, what appear to be Channel 4's version of Watchdog, which I didn't know it existed until I came across it yesterday.

I remember royal biographer Penny Junor presenting this but have no recollection of Brian Hayes on this. I do remember him presenting Right to Reply though.

I remember Moneyspinner was another programme that was broadcast in the same slot as 4WIW.

That MAY have been TVS other TV offering of TV Weekly if midweek afternoon?

The rubbish 1999-2000 Electric Circus opening popping up in the Ravensbourne collection got me looking for the cool remix of I Feel Love used in series 3-6.
Possibly a little obscure but here it is, as used in Live and Kicking 1995-1999:

The elements used for the opening/menu/next week/closing are 00:45 - 03:40.
