Apparently tipped off by an entry on closinglogos.com which from everything I've seen seems relatively sane as a website although its anybody's guess who runs that but it seems to have been around for 20 years. The text in question says it was found "The [video posted above] was found on a 2001 Italian VHS print of Teletubbies: Tubby-Toast!""

Well, as sane as a public wiki about TV and film logos can be. Just never go into the discussions tab.

Talking of VHS idents, here's 50 mins of them from the 1980s

There's some absolute humdingers in there. I don't recognise any though

So what happened to the YT channel TVBits? It's vanished, and it's too bad because that channel had a goldmine of stuff. Was it busted for copyright stuff or something else? Does the uploader post here?

Shame really, I’m fairly certain TV Bits was also the same person that ran the excellent Continuity Booth and Ultimate LWT websites back in the day.

Some great stuff there! I don’t find DailyMotion particularly user friendly though.

This. I’ve had so many issues using it on iOS in the past, notably videos crashing.

Even on windows and in a proper browser it can be a struggle to get videos to play on there half the time.

Or it keeps interrupting by adverts. But that's where my major copyrighted videos go.

As ever KillianM2 does not disappoint. The last couple of days a couple of RTÉ start ups from the mid 1990’s, have been uploaded where the technology has failed spectacularly...

Is it just me or can you not search channels on Dailymotion?
