A statement...
Looks like YouTube have gone on a copyright violation rampage again... many channels containing television/music related material are being suspended including putthetellyon after nearly 1 and a half years and 130 or so videos.
To say I'm not surprised despite referencing every video I've uploaded would be an understatement but it makes me wonder, what is the future for the site now? Back to standard blogging and news videos only?
Thought I'd take this opportunity to say, if you've visited my channel in the past, I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing my material with you and creating various videos myself. I've had a lot of positive feedback on the channel from people who enjoy reflecting their youth through the various clips I've uploaded and also from the various continuity collections I've reuploaded.
For the meantime I will not be starting up any new channel and therefore my material remains...back in the box. I hope one day this petty copyright nonsense gets sorted out once and for all..because since the dawn of the Internet and YouTube, nobody has been able to set ground rules with it and it's a big shame!
Thank you.
