This is one of my favourite Crystal Maze clips.

Contestants applied individually and put together by the production team so I imagine they would choose people of mixed abilities to put together for balance.

(edited rather than make a new post) Having just looked up that team on Marc Gerrish's Crystal Maze site, that contestant (Siobhan) played two games and didn't win either of them - not the first to lose all the games you play and definitely not the last. There were no end of people with top-end jobs entering a cell and making a right hash of things a "child of three" could do. I dare say there will be more hashes to come in the new 20 episodes later this year.

An interesting video or two has popped up on YouTube showing solutions to some of the games from across the Maze that were never completed for whatever reason. Here are two:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hInuZH_FiU - solution to the "Connect the coloured wires" game from series 3

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGSQ-Y7u-1w - convoy game solution from series 5

I found this funnier than I should've done.

I like how it's so natural to him that it's only after he repeats some of the weirder greetings, he realises what they sound like.

And now for something completely different.

The day Ant & Dec (but mostly Dec) met/got attacked by Emu, from The Ant & Dec Show, CBBC 1995:

Two interesting things from this clip from a Sunday morning on Anglia in 1990. Firstly a programme that was an Anglia and TVS Co-production (Did two ITV companies co-producing ever happen on any other programmes?).

And secondly we see a brief snippet of an interlude! I thought they were very much banished from any station by 1990!

Interesting. Were the rules about advertising around religious programmes strict at that time?

That not the first time that clips appear. It is the first time oliver has uploaded it to youtube. Im surprised there no public adverts.

There was a show in the early 90s called Fit to Win which was an HTV/Meridian co-production and would feature a team from each region competing against each other.

First I've heard of such a thing on ITV let alone them having been stopped by then.

Who want to see an STV interlude? You dont have a choice... Very Happy STV was smarter with the times, since there had kids programmes, link and Ekion and something else thus the slots were all filled.
