That was of some help! Thanks. The thing I am really looking for is some recent BBC News material in wmv. =) It's a project I'm working on and my software can't handle Real or Quicktime! =) Thanks!
have you tried to convert a non windows format to wmv? You could try Windows Media Encoder (free) or Fx Video Converter (free trial).
I don't remember off hand the specifics of what each of those programs will do.
