I think the logo font looks fine.

Outstanding. A job really well done. I like how you've made such fundamental changes to the site, while retaining consistency with what was here previously. You've made functional changes - I don't get an overwhelming sense of 'change for the sake of change'. That's a good thing for a site as successful as TVF.

Having said that, if there is one nit that I have to pick, it's the logo: I think the 'Forum' in Gill Sans just looked fresher. I don't have a problem with serif fonts, but in this case I'm just not sure it works quite as well. For me, the old TVF logo had a certain timeless quality about it. I perhaps don't feel that this new one does.

Gill Sans is like 1920's lol so Souvineir is a step up.

Looking at the logo its not so much the font for Forum, but the fact the TV font (Zombie) hasn't changed.

A totally new logo perhaps, if anyone is willing to give it a go, and this being a stop-gap from the transition of old to new...

Well TVF is also a forum about television presentation from the past as well as the present, so an 'old' looking font doesn't look out of place at all in my opinion. It would be a shame if everything looked bright and modern.

Well, let me clarify my remarks. It's not that I dislike the new logo - I just don't like it quite as much as the old one.

Brilliant design, especially love the Auto Correct feature. I have a few comments though (all of them very picky):

1. In IE7 the footer text is overlapped by the topic boxes
2. I'm personally not keen on the boxes being of varying heights
3. Emoticon images don't load at all (for me) within PM Compose interface
4. The PM notification feature is a bit too subtle for my liking (that's pretty subjective though)
5. Is there a chance the top-of-page banner ad could line up with the rest of the page - either by aligning it to the right of the forum "page" or by centering it at the top?

I wonder if we might get some new emoticons too? The forum would look GREAT with some flashy emoticons

I know this post reads like a list of complaints but it's more a checklist of things that would make this new look perfect!

Wonderful new site, I am glad there are many elements of the old site taken into account and its not totally new.

Wondering if the Calendar can be edited by anyone, I hope it doesn't get spammed up.
