Call it instinct but it was going to attract negative comment, the vast majority of members won't be particularly interested in such a channel, your original post had given all the useful details.

Why was the 'Ocean Finance Television' thread locked earlier today? If it breaks some forum rule that I am not aware of then it would be helpful to know so that I don't accidentally start another thread that breaks the same rule.

It's showing the correct time now :S
It's had this particular bug since this look launched - occaisionally the hour of the latest post is displayed incorrectly. The minute and topic title are always correct. Normally the next time it refreshes the details from Metropol the mistaken hour goes away.

Indeed - I remembered it was familiar just after I posted it :S

I know this is a presentation forum, but seeing as we've got so many threads based on programmes themselves, can't we embrace it and have a board just for them? [Not that the same should be applied to rotas, which are creepy.] Having more focussed boards might actually encourage more presentation talk.
I wonder if I'll get any feedback on this at all from the moderation team...

I think there's too much crossover between programmes and pres on this site to do it - most of the programme specific threads discuss a behind the scenes/presentation element as opposed to the standard tv chat so all I think you end up doing is forcing users to have to check another page. I'm always dubious of sites that have lots of forums and few topics spread thinly. Splitting to create The Newsroom was enough of a debate!

I agree, probably the closest to a "programme chat" thread we have on here is the Corrie thread and a lot of that is based around the move to Salford.
Rotas however are the elephant in the room. Any chance of having them banished to a subforum?
Please?

From what I can see there's only three active rota threads? That's not really enough to justify a separate forum. I appreciate that lots do find the content boring and inane but the topics are very clearly labelled - just don't venture into them. And we'll continue to publicly and privately direct members who are posting in the wrong topics - RTPs are always welcome to help with that too.

I think there's a general feeling that allowing their existence encourages the mundane presenter tracking to creep into certain. other. threads. *daybreak* cough, pushing those topics to the top and burying everything else.
But if you feel they can be contained to clearly marked off zones and as long as they don't get as weird as the Sky News one did t'other day...
