Just a couple more years until we hit the troublesome teens though. It's rather refreshing though that TV Forum has kind of remained a constant over 11 years and although it's been tweaked and upgraded over the years, it is essentially the same site it was since it launched - and all the better for it.

Well said, Brekkie. It's hard to believe that TV Forum has been a staple of my life for 11 years now. It's just become a comfortable part of my daily routine that feels like it's been here for as long as I can remember. I bet you could count on one hand the number of days I've not visited the site; even after 11 years it's still my first port of call each day. That's testament to Asa and all the members who make it so worthwhile. If you'd asked me in 2001 whether it would still be here in 2012, I honestly would have laughed. It's great that TVF still keeps on going in spite of the emergence of social media, which has impacted upon a lot of traditional forums like this. It just goes to show what a strong community we really are.
I think I'll be celebrating my 11th anniversary as a member tomorrow, 23 March. As I recall, I was on a school trip in Belgium when TV Forum launched (although I'd been an avid follower and contributor to TV Home for about six months by then). I signed up when I got home the following day. Out of interest, who's still here from the very early days? I know Gavin, Pete, Rob and Martin have been here for a long time like me - but is there anyone else from those days still reading along? If so, give us a shout! (If you're a regular contributor who I've forgotten here, I do apologise. The forum crash of 2003 rendered the registered dates useless, and 'before January 2003' is a bit too vague now! I'd like to know if anyone from those first few months is still with us.)

Happy Birthday TV Forum. I suppose I consider myself still a newbie, but being a news fan makes it the best forum on the net for me, personally. Definitely my first port of call each day when surfing and long may it continue!!

Happy birthday TV Forum!
I've been here for a good few years now and try to visit on a daily basis.
A great community.
Congrats Asa. Is the new template nearly ready?
