I don't feel that the Gallery's layout is clear enough. Whilst I like the overall design, I find it very difficult to tell when a thread has new posts from my last visit.

I often avoid It because it always looks like this whenever I visit.

Funnily enough, I haven't had that for a while - but when I do, I immediately leave.

The minimum character limit on the search form is four characters.

On a forum where three-letter acronyms are particularly commonplace, it is quite ridiculous.

I find it easier to just put site:tvforum.co.uk into google and put your keyword afterwards.

So in your case: https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Atvforum.co.uk+nbc&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a

A bit ahead of itself? Looks like the latest post is on the previous page.

I get that on the ITV News page as well, probably due to some deleted posts?

Also happens on the BBC News National page.

This used to be a bug with phpBB2 back in the day too although it used to reach absurd levels with three or four phantom pages.

It happens to me quite a lot with the longer threads, so I don't think it has anything to do with members deleting posts.

Post data and the text itself are stored in different tables. What's happening is sometimes one is being entered but not the other, the number of posts in the topic is being updated (which drives the pagination) but in reality there are fewer posts hence it gets a bit confused. Hopefully won't have to wait too much longer for this to be fixed.

I've said it on Facebook and Twitter, so the best thing to do is to say it here as well.

Happy birthday TV Forum!
