I can never tell which threads in the Gallery have new posts. I think all of the http://tvfi.co.uk/beta/icons/newest.gif icons are green, but I can never really tell. I think they're all the same anyway. So I end up having to remember whether I've read that user's post or not, or base it on the date.

I have thought of a solution for dealing with flimflam topics like this.

You have a list of trustworthy long-term members who see a 'delete' button on the original post.

If five members press the delete button a switch is triggered and the topic goes in the bin.

Just a thought.

It wouldn't work. You would just get people deleting Tumble Tower's post because they don't like him.

I am failing to see the problem with this concept.

Anyone else noticed that the BBC National News: Presentation thread is broken? The latest post link takes you to an empty page.

I think this happened before with an ITV News thread if memory serves me right.

Happens on quite a few topics - usually because at some point a post has been deleted (though not necessarily the last post on the topic). An annoying little bug Asa will hopefully iron out over time.

Hmm.. for some reason loading threads seem to be slower than usual.

Same here - it started around 6:00 or 7:00pm yesterday for me. I don't think it's a broadband problem, though, as of the websites I visit regularly, it's only TV Forum that's affected.

You can edit post in locked threads, this is strange...

The Gallery looks like this for me at the moment.

Firefox 5.0 - no ad blocker used.

Firefox seems to have a problem rendering many things on TV Forum - the grid outline of the other forums, for example.

Just a few points as I've been poor at replying lately...

You shouldn't be able to edit posts in locked topics - you will see the icon and the post page but if you submit it should fail?

The pagination going out of sync is a bit of a pain. Topics were manually corrected a little while ago but I've noticed a couple have started to go wrong again.

Apologies for the Firefox issues. I'm holding off making changes to the existing site as a 'refreshed' look has been sitting on my PC for a while which will eventually be made live. http://m.tvforum.co.uk was on the cards (the domain was set up!) but time constraints have meant I've never got around to it. The new look may allow for a mobile friendly version without too much effort though.
