Will take a look into the problems, I think it's been answered before about the background differences and is something to do with how Firefox renders png vs jpgs?

Presuming you are using photoshop it is because the PNG contains the colour profile of your monitor rather than a default one. Can't remember the exact trick because I recall this being an issue with Metro too but I think you essentially have to untick the "use sRGB" box in export to web.

Just noticed the banner has some rather fugly compression artifacts too, any chance that could be repaired too, if it's not too much trouble?

Keep getting a slide-up notification in Firefox 4 on LIVE chat telling me the Quicktime Plugin has crashed?

Using search to find a topic, and selecting a page number from the result (the 1,2....47,48 bit) results in the topic number and the post number appearing in the address bar, with no TV Forum preceding the URL. This means that they aren't working, as you just get a 'The address "-30651/page-2" could not be found'.

Why on page two of the news room does it skip back to posts from last November? I noticed a similar thing before.

Is this a problem others ever have or has previously been discussed?

I'm not able to replicate your problem here - not sure why it would be a local issue, though. Try resetting the cookie?

Jon's not going mad, there was an issue which was fixed that night. Surprising that it's been like that for so long without anyone noticing (only affected those not logged in)!

That would explain it. Seemed like an odd problem if it only affected select users, but your reason would make perfect sense!

Why are request threads archived less than a year after the last reply? Important information has come to light regarding a much sought-after theme tune. Unfortunately, it's not possible to reply to the relevant thread because the thread has been archived even though it is only 10 months old. I'm not creating a whole new thread for it when a perfectly good one explaining the background story behind the search for this piece of music already exists...
