I am finding it very frustrating to browse TVF using my desktop, netbook and phone. If you dare use a second machine to check the forum it completely breaks the "latest post" links and results in you having different levels of reading on each device.

I can only assume this is being stored in a cookie rather than against your account in the database and thus would request this be rectified for the state of my sanity.

Cheers

What happened to the monthly Gallery challenge?

Indeed, that's what I've been thinking. It was quite successful last month, so I can't see it having been axed. I posted a question about this month's challenge in last month's thread, which has been deleted, as you can see when you click the 'Also' link on the homepage.

Also, the pop-up for a new PM no longer appears for me. The '1 new PM' indicator in the corner, above the blue bar, just appears, which does lead to me not noticing it.

It appears for me but only on the homepage. Are you sure you are not getting the message on the homepage?

EDIT : Now it isn't appearing for me. Strange.

Send me a PM and I'll check. Wink

EDIT: No, the '1 new PM' menu option over the blue bar appears, no pop-up 'speech bubble'.

EDIT 2: Maybe we're part of a conspiracy.

Also, what happened to the Calendar, where you could view select a date that posts were made on whilst reading a thread, and go to posts from that date onwards?

I feel it is ridiculous how a thread is allowed to be titled 'The Death of Margaret Thatcher' and not be changed by the forum moderators. There is no doubt that people like me visited the forum and thought she had actually died when reading that title on the homepage.

EDIT : It seems Asa and the mods have kicked in.

Wow, that long. That said, I can only just remember the days of the last site!
